He said he just stayed up late to watch The Sopranos last night, that's why he's so tired. Howard was tired from his weekend so Robin thought he was partying all weekend or something. He's read that the band is more into letting him do what he wants to do than the guys in STP were. That led to him talking about how Slash from Guns N Roses is in the band with Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots. He said they should have some fun with that. 6:25amĪfter the break Howard mentioned that they have Velvet Revolver coming in to perform. They talked about Bush for a couple of minutes and then Howard went to commercial break. He fell off his bicycle over the weekend and the caller thought that was kind of funny. Howard and the caller continued to talk about some stuff that's in the news lately about President Bush. She said that your day is just starting and trying to wake up and that song hits you. One woman called in and said that the opening theme song it a little bit much for someone first thing in the morning. He, Artie and Gary all said it was a great episode but that was about it. Howard didn't get into details since Robin hadn't seen the show yet. Howard was saying they made up for the crappy episode they had the week before. Robin didn't want to hear about it though because she hadn't seen it. Howard and the guys talked about The Sopranos since it was so good last night. Howard said that since he started dieting and losing weight he doesn't go more than once every 3 days or so. Howard asked Artie how many times he moves his bowels each day. He said he couldn't feel worse after eating that stuff. Howard read that over in Sudan they eat grasshoppers but they call them ''flying shrimp.'' The reporter also wrote that people eat mudd that they turn into pancake looking meals.Īrtie said he woke up at 3 in the morning and had 2 slices of sicilian pizza and a half a can of icing from a cupcake kit his girlfriend bought for him. Robin said she did that last week and didn't have any food all week last week.
That led to the guys talking about Robin's fasting and if she still does that. He said that they also say that people don't have to eat for up to 40 days at a time. He mentioned that some people boil leather from furniture and eat that. Howard went on to talk about an article he read in the paper over the weekend about what people who can't afford food actually eat. He has no choice because he gets in so early and doesn't have time to get it down before he starts the show. He was still eating his breakfast as the show was starting so he talked about how people complain about him eating on the air. Artie thinks it's kind of like the tonight show theme song of his show but Howard seems to think it's a little too harsh for someone to hear first thing in the morning. He thinks the song ''Great American Nightmare'' might be too much for people and he's given up hope of the song becoming a number 1 hit.
Howard thinks that it might be time to change the opening music for the show. Show opening bits and songs included: ''Scott From the Block'' song parody, Howard Stern Descrambler Glasses commercial parody, Stone Temple Pilots perform ''Vasaline'' live in the studio. | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday |
