Of the other 4 games, I enjoyed all of them and glad I backed them. I'll start getting them played after Xmas passes. The last 6 on the list I haven't gotten to the table yet since they only arrived in the last 1-4-ish weeks and so far in December, have only had 1 game night (the joys of the holiday season). These are all the games I backed in 2017:
Pathogenesis (2) : competitive biology-themed RPG, very well-researched but takes a long time to play.Orgasme (at least once every game night) : 6P competitive card-based orgy simulator, very not for kids but very fun for adults who are open to it.Node (I literally carry this with me everywhere) : social discussion tile-laying, great conversation starter, I used it for Speed Dating once!.Gobby (0) : oral dexterity party game, haven't convinced anyone else to play it yet ^^.The Frost Papers (0) : theatrical party game, haven't gotten the right group together to try it yet.Fate of the Elder Gods (1) : territory control, very fun and detailed.Endangered Orphans (2) : competitive survival horror, extremely bleak.Cantankerous Cats (8) : super adorbs card-based competitive.STUFFED : card-based set collection and dice-rollingįor 2016 though, here are the games I backed and have received, with playcounts so far:.
STEM: Epic Heroes : card-based set collection.ROOT : 6P asymmetric territory control and strategy.Legend of Korra: Pro-bending Arena : highly themed 2P combat RPG.Consentacle : 2P cooperative social deduction.Arranged : highly themed competitive racing.Games that I backed in 2017 and am looking forward to receiving next year include: I've yet to receive any of the Kickstarter games I backed in 2017, so I guess I can't quite answer your question. It feels a little weird looking through this thread since I don't seem have any overlap with anyone else nor even heard of any of these?
That one was a little bit of an impulse buy but it wasn’t too expensive and should be an interesting filler. Lastly, backed Shipwreck Arcana which is a logic/deduction co-op game. Not sure if the expansion will refresh or interest. Played a bunch when I first got the game but it hasn’t made it to the table in a while. My girlfriend and I are anxiously awaiting Hardback which is a deck-building word game with variable powers on the letter cards.īacked the Deception expansion. Essentially a choose your own adventure with 1,000 tiles/cards. I caught the Game Night! episode for 7th Continent and backed that immediately. It’s basically a Jurassic Park worker placement game with a super 90’s art style. Got my Deluxe copy of Dinosaur Island on Monday and I’ve played it once at 2P. It’s been a big hit among my game group and I’m really looking forward to unlocking lots of new things. Got my copy of Gloomhaven a few weeks ago. it’s going to be my most blinged out game whenever it arrives! I also backed Rising Sun and went a bit crazy with the add-ons.
